The National Head Start Association (NHSA) Web site features NHSA's publications; policy/issue reviews; upcoming conferences and meetings schedule; professional, organizational development; and NHSA's membership support and services. NHSA is the national membership association representing children, families, staff and the more than 1,400 Head Start programs in the United States.

1998-99 AACS, Inc. Board Officers

Rev. Gregory L. Baize of Echols, Kentucky, was elected AACS, Inc. Board Chairman for 1998-99. Rev Baize is the assistant pastor of the Horse Branch Church of God and a director and counselor with Baize Christian Family Counseling. He formerly served as executive director of the Ohio County, Kentucky, Habitat for Humanity. Click the following link to connect with Rev. Baize's e-mail; a pre-set mail screen will appear.

McLean County Judge/Executive Larry Whitaker of Calhoun, Kentucky, was elected Vice Chair for 1997-98.

Mayor Colin Todd of Dixon was elected to serve as 1997-98 Secretary-Treasurer.

1996-98 Board Chairperson Dr. Ellen Dugan-Barrette, Chairperson of the Humanities Division and Professor of English at Owensboro's Brescia University, remains on the Board in the ex-officio position of Immediate Past Chairperson.
